Go out to all the world and tell the Good News. Psalm 117
Just outside my office door there is a shrub that looks ordinarily green for most of the year. During the Springtime, it suddenly bursts into these beautiful tri-colored, delicate flowers that attract a few comments and some admirers who stop long enough to see. Some years ago, I was told that the shrub is called “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow,” because of the three hues of the same color that the flowers display. The essential good news of our lives here on earth is captured once a year by this inconsequential shrub that few people even notice. Perhaps the Holy One is telling us that all is beautiful – the past, the present and the future. And since all exist simultaneously, we are reminded that to God, there is no time. All of existence is caught up in one great experience of beauty. Tell a friend.
