“Amen, amen, I say to you, one of you will betray me. . . .the cock will not crow before you deny me three times.” John 13:21, 38

Betrayal and denial  are such negative words, words that spiritual evolved people want to forever  eradicate.  Betrayal of loved ones results in death of soul and spirit. Denial fractures relationships and makes real love impossible. Paradoxically, it is when these sins happen, when we truly experience the dark, devastating effects of the human condition, that we are inspired enough to make changes. After we weep bitterly and allow something inside of us to die, only then can we arise forgiven and anew, ready to pick up our cross and follow once more.
