“If only you would put up with a little foolishness from me! Please put up with me.” 2 Cor 11:1

God is a serious subject, right? As Christians, we  believe God created the world, filled it with creeping and crawling things, and fashioned humans in His image.

He even gave us His one and only Son as an expiation for our sins.

Is either version of the message (text vs. image) more appropriate than the other? Is it possible to infuse humor, profanity, comparisons and other expressions to deliver the Gospel? Even if you don’t agree with that expression? In the scripture above, St. Paul goes on to warn the Corinthians he is not a “superapostle”, but that his message is still strong and valid in all things relating to God. Today, I am going to meditate on my “superapostle”-ness and endeavor to be more of a fool for God.
