A voice says, “Cry out!” I answer, “What shall I cry out?” Isaiah 40:6

How have I cried out  to God today?

Prayer is a cry of the heart, erupting naturally throughout the times of our lives such as when we gasp over a sunset, send up a “thank-you” when a parking place opens on an extra-busy day, or when we are in crisis and need immediate help. Somewhere deep inside the soul, God is trying to get us to respond, one way or another, for prayer is initiated by God, not by us.
