As we continued our discussion of the History of the Church, from the Rennaisance through the present day, from the “fortress” mentality after the Protestant Reformation to the current millennial mentality, many insights arose. Pictured is the first bishop of Baltimore, Bishop John Carroll, who, along with his brother, Charles Carroll, helped establish the Catholic Church as a driving force in the early American colonies. We recommend more reading on this topic as there was just too much to cover in only two nights.
