Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose hope is the LORD. .  .Jeremiah 17:7

To be blessed by God for trusting and hoping just feels good.  Yet, these are virtues that take a lifetime of striving to really achieve.  Trust is fragile. We learn this early on in life when something or someone disappoints us. The Old Testament stories are full of blatant examples of broken promises and how God, through the psalmists and inspired writings, repeatedly tells us that they only way out is to begin again. Trusting begets trust begets hope, the greatest blessing.
